Mason Shell is a lighting designer based in Birmingham, Alabama. His design work includes both concerts and regional theatre productions. His work on concerts includes YoYo Ma, Saint Motel, and Jessica Vosk. His work in theatre includes Hair, The Wolves, and It's Only Life.  He has also designed both the Alabama premieres of The Wolves and DNA. 

 

As a technician, he has worked at The Gouge Performing Arts Center, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, The Alliance Theatre, and the Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center. He has also toured with A Taste of Ireland, and Paw Patrol Live
